Stumbled on this place this morning and it did not disappoint. Huevos rancheros was terrific with Carne. Great flavors and homemade corn tortillas. Can't wait to come again.
If you want authentic food for a fraction of the price of mainstream restaurants... this is your place. They have a ton of lunch specials for $9.99 including the Burrito en salsa verde pictured below. They have extremely generous portions, but even I didn't expect it to come out this large. It it a very meaty burrito, stuffed to the brim with tender pulled pork, refried beans, rice and cheese, smothered in a pool of salsa verde. One of my favorite orders to date! Their salsa is one of my favorites - so fresh with great flavor and a tiny kick to it. The restaurant is located conveniently off of Albemarle rd and is spacious on the inside with the usual Latin vibes - music and decor.
This is my new restaurant of choice when I want some authentic Mexican food with the exception of another restaurant that I will not name on this review however the service are always friendly the food is delicious and fulfilling and you get that authentic Mexican food and feel when you walk through the door I highly recommend it is right up the street from my home and it is a place that my husband and I love to go.
Hands down these are some of the best tacos I have ever had! The fish, shrimp and chicken were all flavored to perfection with good portion sizes. Service was quick and clean also! I look forward to returning to try more!
